In August, Truong Chau Huu Danh continuously had posts on his personal Facebook about the case of Nguyen Hoang Trung Kien (30 years old, living in Thoi Lai City, Thoi Lai District, Can Tho City) who takes pesticides. he committed suicide because he was sentenced to 9 months in prison.
Kien was sentenced to 9 months in prison by the Can Tho City People’s Court for “intentionally damaging property” for using a bulldozer to demolish Hung Thinh Phat Company’s pre-engineered steel warehouse.
Before preparing to serve his sentence, Kien drank a pesticide and committed suicide on the night of August 13.
At that time, Danh went directly to Can Tho, went to the hospital to visit the defendant and filmed the clip posted on social media.
Huu Danh wrote about this incident as follows: “Can Tho, an approved officer in Hamlet A who dared to raid Hamlet B to gain land with the people, was protected by the court. The victim’s land was stolen, sent to prison and committed suicide. However, being in the hospital less than 48 hours, they took him to the hospital bed to serve his sentence… ”.
