On 12-12, the Quang Ninh Provincial Police Department, CSDT, issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the defendant, and enforce the arrest warrant for defendant Ngo Quang Doan (age 40, housing area 7, city of Cai Rong, Van Don District) for “murder” as defined in article 123 of the Penal Code.
Before that, the authorities received the news that a house on level 4 of area 7 in the town of Cai Rong caught fire, causing NTH (45 years old, Doan’s wife) to be trapped inside. After about 15 minutes, the victim escaped on her own but was severely burned to about 70% of her body, and was taken to the emergency room by nearby people at the Van Don District Medical Center.
Seeing signs of suspicion, the law enforcement agency investigated and determined that Doan had doused gasoline and set the home on fire.
The reason is that Doan was drinking at a dog meat shop in Area 9, Cai Rong City, when Ms. H. scolded her and asked to go home immediately, so the couple got into a fight over the phone.
At home, Doan and Ms H. continued to fight, so Doan took a plastic can (10-liter type) from the upstairs kitchen and drove to Dong Ha gas store (500m from his home). ) to buy 120,000 dong of gasoline to take home. After that, the pair continued to curse and defy each other, so Doan poured gas on the floor and started the fire.
Currently, the Quang Ninh Provincial Police Department of the CSDT is completing the file handling the case.
