Lieutenant Colonel Doan Van Mao and Lieutenant Colonel Ngo Tho Khanh, two leaders of the Traffic Police Division, Trang Bom District Order Police, were suspended for 30 days.
Dong Nai Police made the decision on December 11 to inspect and verify the content of the video denouncing Lieutenant Colonel Mao (Chief of the Traffic Police – Trang Bom District Police Order) and Lieutenant Colonel Khanh (Vice captain) “vehicle intervention offense”.

In the early hours of the night on December 4, many videos with content were broadcast on the Internet when the police ordered the violation of the vehicle, which was ignored by the team leader.
The picture shows a policeman preventing a tricycle driver in Song Trau Cemetery (Trang Bom District) from requesting document review. The driver said, “My car sent me to Mao.” The policeman continued: “If we send Mr. Mao, we should call. We went to work here, but he still hoped to send hundreds of thousands a month to pass, running down the street …”.
On another stretch, the driver of three guards stopped by the police also asked for a car and said “about a million. Sent for several years. The images in the reports have not been determined at what time. After 5 hours of posting, the previous videos were removed.
Before the video was released, the Trang Bom district police dispatched two officers from the Traffic Police Team – Order Police to the General Team.
“The board of directors conducts the inspection to clarify the content of the video, when there is a conclusion, we will report it,” said a Dong Nai Police leader.
At the end of 2019, a traffic police from Team 2 of the Dong Nai Traffic Police Department also filmed a video denouncing that the team leader called for intervention when driving the offending vehicle. Through inspection, the Ministry of Public Security determined that the incident was real. Seven months ago, Dong Nai Police demoted Lieutenant Colonel Pham Hai Cang (Team Leader 2) and warned Lieutenant Colonel Phan Cam Tu (Vice Division 1). Both were transferred to the Mobile Police Department.
