This afternoon (December 9), the Hanoi City People’s Council elected Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan – Undersecretary of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People’s Council to be Chairman of the 2016-2021 term of the Popular Council of the City.
The delegates also resigned from the position of chairman of the city’s People’s Council with Ms Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc. At the City Party Congress, term 17, Ms. Ngoc did not participate in the Party Committee of the new term.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan was born in 1966, he is from Thuc Khang Commune, Binh Giang District, Hai Duong Province. Mr. Tuan is a PhD in Economics; Irrigation engineer.
From 7/1990 – 9/1994, Mr. Tuan was a technical officer for the Construction Experiment Company, later working for the Housing and Urban Development Company (now known as the Housing and Urban Development Corporation). Marketing – Ministry of Construction).

In October 1994 – 1/2004, he was project manager, construction team leader, secretary of Youth Union, director of Construction Company No. 2 – Hanoi Youth Construction Company.
In the period from February 2004 to April 2007, he acted as Director, Director, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Hanoi Youth Construction Company (Hanoi Housing Development and Investment Company No. 25 ). Since September 2006, he is a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Hanoi Housing Investment and Development Corporation.
He was a permanent member of the Corporation Party Committee, member of the Board of Directors, in charge of the Board of Directors of Hanoi Housing Investment and Development Corporation from May 2007 to June 2008.
From July 2008 to March 2014, he was Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Members of the Hanoi Housing Development and Investment Corporation.
Tuan served as Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee from April 2014 to March 2016.
In April 2016, he was a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Undersecretary of the Party Committee, and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Council.
At the first meeting of the Party Committee of the City Party Committee, 17th period, Mr. Tuan was elected Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, 17th period, 2020-2025 period.
Mr. Chu Ngoc Anh spoke about the staff presented to be elected vice president of the city of Hanoi.
Hanoi President Chu Ngoc Anh said the staff presented to the People’s Council to be elected vice chairman of the City People’s Committee are all capable and prestigious officials.
