Quang Binh authorities are looking for people who share a passenger car with “patient 1291”, who is suspected of being positive after 4 days of recovery.
On the morning of December 8, Mr. Nguyen Duc Cuong, Director of Quang Binh Health Department, said that the competent force was contacting the garage and looking for passengers to share a ride with “patient 1291” from the city of Ho Chi Minh to the city. Quy Dat City, Minh Hoa District (Quang Binh Province).
“Patient 1291”, male, 19 years old, from Minh Hoa district. On November 8, he entered Tan Son Nhat Airport (Ho Chi Minh City) from Romania and was centrally isolated, tested positive for nCoV. He was treated at Cu Chi Field Hospital on December 3, recovered and was discharged from the hospital.
The patient took a bus from Ho Chi Minh City to Quy Dat City (Minh Hoa District). At 6pm on December 4, he got out of the car at Trung Hoa Market (Minh Hoa District) and then went to Trung Hoa Commune Health Station to do a medical report, the temperature measured 34 , 3 degrees Celsius, normal health.
On December 7, the Quang Binh Center for Disease Control took a sample from this man for nCoV testing and the result was positive.
On the bus home, “patient 1291” accompanied 25 people who were in Quang Binh. Currently, the Quang Binh Province Health Department has taken the patient to hospital for treatment; review for centralized isolation and testing of F1 cases. “We advocate for people to proactively take action to prevent and combat epidemics, but not too confused and concerned,” Cuong said.
On the afternoon of December 8, the Quang Binh Health Department said that all 36 F1 of the “1,291 patients” were identified, including 25 passengers, the driver, the car attendant and their families. So far, authorities have rounded up 31 people in isolation, searching for the remaining 3 people. The mother and grandmother of this patient, although F1, were isolated at home due to prostrate illness.
On the afternoon of December 7, the Ministry of Health registered a positive case of nCoV, which entered through an isolated point of entry in Da Nang. The total number of infections is 1,367.
