Faced with this situation, Ho Chi Minh City continues to implement measures to prevent epidemics when new cases are urgently detected, investigated, tracked and tested. The Health Department has proposed to the Popular Committee of the City to conduct a centralized isolation of all international flight crews while awaiting the new leadership of the National Steering Committee.

In addition, continue to expand testing to monitor high-risk groups, isolate incoming people in accordance with regulations; inspect and monitor implementation in quarantine facilities; supervise people who have quarantined in other provinces for city residence.

Currently, Ho Chi Minh City has a total of 1,743 people who are isolated in centralized isolation sites and 2,390 people in their accommodation. The city also has 3 patients after being discharged from the hospital who are under follow-up, 75 cases have expired.
