For pilots on flights welcoming citizens, experts, investors, high-tech workers … from countries to Vietnam, the Ministry of Transport called for continuing to strictly implement measures to prevent infection. illnesses during the entire flight trip, such as: use of an N95 mask or equivalent, use of protective clothing including hats, glasses, jumpsuit, shoe covers, double-layer gloves, use of dry hand sanitizer; do not place passengers in the executive cabin adjacent to the cockpit; pilots use private bathrooms, self-service food; When exiting the plane, you can serve a private car without the flight attendant; no contact with the passengers on the flight and the remaining members, native ground personnel at foreign airports.

For flight attendants and other crew members (technical personnel, ground personnel) traveling on the same flight: protective clothing similar to that of the pilot; minimize contact with passengers; use a separate bathroom; when exiting the plane, you can serve your own car; no contact with onboard pilots and native ground personnel at foreign airports. The Ministry of Transportation requires to continue to strictly implement medical isolation measures and take test samples for flight crew members upon arrival in Vietnam in accordance with the provisions of Official Dispatch No. 3588 / CV-BCĐ dated 2 July 2020. Upon returning to Vietnam, conduct concentrated isolation, take samples to test according to regulations with all crew members and passengers on the flight. If all passengers and crew members test negative for the first time, continue taking a second sample with the crew members (second test after at least 72 hours from the first sample collection.).

If the rest of the crew members test negative on the second test, the remaining crew members can leave the quarantine area and continue with home and home medical isolation. instructions from the Ministry of Health until the next international mission (tests are required 24 hours before the next international flight).

If there is a COVID-19 positive passenger or crew member during the first test, conduct a 14-day concentrated isolation on all remaining crew members as needed. If the second test is positive, perform a medical isolation within 14 days for all remaining crew members from the date of the second test result.
