After more than 19 hours of arrest, Ho Chi Minh City police arrested the murder suspect in a suitcase in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.

According to the city police, at 6 pm on November 27, the police received news of the discovery of a pink suitcase with saw blades, forceps with suspected blood in the bathroom on the first floor of the company. Creata Vietnam (address 24, Calle 3, Him Lam Residential Area, Neighborhood 5, Tan Hung Neighborhood, District 7).
The police quickly deployed forces to the scene to verify and determine that a murder had occurred. In addition to the pink suitcase and the aforementioned tools, the police also discovered three larger black nylon bags in the third-floor bathroom of the home. Upon inspection, the inside of the suitcase and the black bags contained human body parts.
Assessing the complexity of the case, Major General Dinh Thanh Nhan, director of CSDT agency, deputy director of CATP, went directly to the scene to lead the investigation and examination.

Through the initial investigation, the police quickly identified the suspect as JEONG IN CHEOL (35 years old, Korean nationality), director of the Creata Vietnam company. At the same time, the police identified the victim as HAN TONG DUK (33 years old, Korean nationality) as a friend of JEONG IN CHEOL.
After the crime, JEONG IN CHEOL left the scene with a black KIA car. On the morning of November 28, the city police issued a Follow-Up Notice of JEONG IN CHEOL as the person involved in the incident.
At the same time, Major General Dinh Thanh Nhan continued to preside over the meetings of the related professional units and urgently ordered that all professional measurements be recorded and tracked by JEONG IN CHEOL.
In the early afternoon, the city police discovered and arrested JEONG IN CHEOL while he was hiding in Masteri Thao Dien’s apartment (Thao Dien District, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City).
Initially, JEONG IN CHEOL claimed to have murdered his compatriots alone and then put his body in a suitcase due to a currency debt dispute.
Currently, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department of the CSDT continues to investigate.
