Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has just signed a decision approving the results of the election of the chairman of the people’s committees of Hau Giang and Soc Trang provinces.
On November 28, news from the Government Office, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc just signed the decision to approve staff at six locations, including Hau Giang and Soc Trang.
Specifically, in Decision No. 1896 / QD-TTg, the Prime Minister approves the results of the election of the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee of Soc Trang, period 2016-2021 for Mr. Tran Van Lau, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Match, period 2020-2025.

The Prime Minister also signed Decision No. 1894 / QD-TTg approving the dismissal of the Chairman of the People’s Committee of the Soc Trang province for the period 2016-2021 of Mr. Tran Van Chuyen (retired, awaiting the prescribed retirement age) .
In Decision No. 1905 / QD-TTg, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc approved the results of the election of the Chairman of the People’s Committee of Hau Giang Province, period 2016-2021 for Mr. Dong Van Thanh, Undersecretary of the Committee Hau Giang Party Provincial. 2020-2025 term.

The Prime Minister also approved the removal of the Chairman of the People’s Committee of Hau Giang Province, for the period 2016-2021 for Mr. Le Tien Chau (as Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee).
The Prime Minister also approved the resignation of the Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Hau Giang Province, 2016-2021 term for Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan (retired before the age under Government Decree No. 26).
Before that, on November 10, the People’s Councils of Hau Giang and Soc Trang provinces held a thematic meeting to carry out the work of cadres under the authority of the provincial People’s Council.
Consequently, in Soc Trang province, Mr. Tran Van Lau, Undersecretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command was elected to serve as Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, 2016-2021 term.
And in Hau Giang, Mr. Dong Van Thanh, Undersecretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee was elected Chairman of the People’s Committee of Hau Giang Province, 2016-2021 term.

In May 2011, Mr. Dong Van Thanh was appointed Head of Office of the Hau Giang Provincial Party Committee. In September 2014, Mr. Dong Van Thanh was appointed Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Hau Giang Province. Mr. Tran Van Lau, 50 years old this year, is from My Xuyen District, Soc Trang Province. His qualifications: Bachelor of Politics; Political theory level: Advanced. Mr. Tran Van Lau used to hold positions: Platoon Leader of the Phu Loi Battalion, Vice Chairman of the Political Bureau of the Provincial Military Headquarters, Politician of the Long Phu District Military Headquarters, Deputy Political Commissioner, Political Commissioner of the Provincial Military Headquarters , commander of the military headquarters of the province of Soc Trang. |
