President Trump said the number of viewers Biden spoke on Thanksgiving “record low” despite the president-elect “winning 80 million votes.”

“Biden’s Thanksgiving speech received only 1,000 views online, a record low. Observers say that a candidate who wins 80 million votes will attract more viewers online. The number does not lie or accumulate,” posted the United States President Donald Trump on Twitter on October 27.

However, Trump did not specify which platform the online views were on or post the attached screenshots. Earlier, President-elect Joe Biden asked people to come together, adhere to instructions to prevent the spread of nCoV, and expressed his hope for a brighter New Year in his Thanksgiving address on November 25. The video currently receives more than 240,000 likes on Twitter.

Trump spent the morning of Nov. 26 playing golf at the Trump National Golf Club, not far from the White House. Then the president of the United States returned to the White House and made video calls to soldiers abroad to celebrate Thanksgiving. In his Thanksgiving remarks posted on the evening of November 25, Trump urged Americans “to gather in their homes and in places of worship,” despite warnings from health officials about the danger of nCoV infection.

Biden was announced by the US media as president-elect when he obtained 306 electoral votes, surpassing the 232 votes of Trump. Public Service Agency (GSA) Director Emily Murphy said Nov. 23 that the Trump administration is ready to begin the transition of power process, initially showing that it acknowledges failure.

Yet Trump continued his demands in the battlefield states and promised victory. During a press conference on Nov. 26, he said he would leave the White House if voters “make mistakes” in voting for Biden on Dec. 14.

It is customary for US states to complete the electoral process and select voters by December 8. The Electoral College will meet in each state on December 14 to vote for the president and then send the results to parliament. On January 6, 2021, the United States Congress, chaired by Vice President Mike Pence, officially determined the winner to become the 46th President of the United States.
