A Pennsylvania state court has issued an order to prevent any further action to recognize the results of the state elections.

Judge Patricia McCullough delivered the verdict on Nov. 25 amid several voters in Pennsylvania, including Rep. Mike Kelly, accused of voting by mail in the troubled state and violating the constitution.

“In the event that there is still any requirement to finalize the 2020 election results, those responsible should not do so until there is a hearing,” Judge McCullough said. .

Following an order from Judge McCullough, Pennsylvania Chief Judge Josh Shapiro immediately responded on Twitter, saying that the court’s action had not changed because the election results were recognized and the voters were also selected.

Pennsylvania officials also quickly appealed Justice McCullough’s ruling, asking the state Supreme Court to block the ruling from taking effect, saying there were “no good reasons” for the decision. .

“Since the United States was born nearly 250 years ago, no court has issued an order intended to interfere with the verification of state voters as it is now,” wrote Gov. Tom Wolf’s administration. on appeal.

Judge McCullough initially set a hearing for November 27, but canceled it after Governor Wolf appealed. It’s unclear if McCullough plans to delay the certification of state election results or disrupt the 20 state voter meeting scheduled for Dec. 14.
