Out of 5 new cases (patients 1317-1321), there is 1 person India, 1 Korean and 3 Vietnamese entering, all immediately quarantined in Ba Ria – Vung Tau (1), HCMC (2) and Da Nang (2).
Specifically, the patient 1317 is male, 33 years old, Vietnamese nationality, residing in Lapeng commune, Phu Thien district, Gia Lai province. On 11-11, a patient from France entered Tan Son Nhat airport on flight VN5010, he was immediately quarantined and examined in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province. Test results 2 days 24-11 positive for SARS-CoV-2. The patient is currently in isolation and treated at the Long Dien District Medical Center.
Earlier on this flight, there were 3 positive cases for SARS-CoV-2, all isolated in Ho Chi Minh City.
Patient 1318 is male, 37 years old, professional, Indian nationality. On November 21, a patient from India entered Tan Son Nhat Airport on flight EK392, was immediately quarantined and examined in Ho Chi Minh City. The test result was positive for SARS-CoV-2 from 24 to 11 a day. Currently, the patient is isolated and treated at the Cu Chi Field Hospital.
Patient 1319 is male, 23 years old, specialist, Korean nationality. On November 21, a patient from Korea entered Tan Son Nhat Airport on flight KE681, immediately quarantined and took samples for testing in Ho Chi Minh City. The test result on November 24 was positive for SARS-CoV-2. Currently, the patient is isolated and treated at the Cu Chi Field Hospital.
Patient 1320 is male, 57 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Ward 8, Vung Tau city, Ba Ria – Vung Tau province; patient 1321 is a man, 24 years old, Vietnamese nationality, residing in Xuan Dinh District, Bac Tu Liem District, Hanoi City.
On November 23, previous patients from Korea entered Da Nang Airport on flight VN431, were immediately quarantined and collected samples for testing in Ho Chi Minh City. Test result at 24-11 positive for SARS-CoV-2. Currently, patients are isolated and treated at Da Nang Lung Hospital.
According to the report of the Treatment Subcommittee of the National Steering Committee for the prevention and control of COVID-19, so far our country has cured 1,153 patients / 1,321 patients with COVID-19. So far, the number of deaths in our country is 35 cases, which are patients with many serious underlying diseases.
