Taking each other to a pond near the house to bathe, two children in Hung Yen sadly drowned and died.
On the night of November 22, the representative of the People’s Committee of Tan Chau Commune (Khoai Chau, Hung Yen) said that the drowning incident occurred in the area, resulting in the death of 2 children.
According to preliminary information, the incident occurred around 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. in Hop Hoa Village, Tan Chau Commune, Khoai Chau District, Hung Yen Province.
Their bodies were found shortly after.
Around that time, 3 children living together in Hop Hoa Village invited each other to the pond area near the house to bathe. When we arrived, only 2 children went to bathe and 1 child sat on the shore.
Moments later, the two boys went downstairs to shower and sadly drowned. At that moment, the boy sat on the shore and ran to ask the adult for help, but it was too late when he arrived. At approximately 3:00 p.m. the same day, the bodies of the two children were brought ashore.
Two deaths were identified as ALL (grade 6) and NMT (grade 1).
Currently the family is organizing the children’s funeral according to local customs.
