A 23-year-old man driving a young woman on the road was suddenly hit with acid by a stranger.
On November 22, the police in Tan Phu district, Ho Chi Minh City, presented a case of acid that caused a 3-degree burn to a male right eye. The incident occurred late at night on 17/11.
Initially, at 22 hours the incident, Mr. DDP occurred. (23 years old, living in Binh Tan district) rides a motorcycle with a 19-year-old girlfriend who is racing down Binh Long Street.
Upon arriving in front of 64 Binh Long Street, Phu Thanh District, Tan Phu District, an unknown person driving an Exciter motorcycle splashed a liquid aqueous solution on Mr. P.’s face and escaped.
The incident happened so quickly that the victim could not recognize the suspect’s shape or license plate.
Mr. P. and his girlfriend shouted for help and were taken to the hospital for examination. In this way, victims of grade 3 acid burns in the right eye were initially identified.
The case was reported to the police. Consequently, Mr. P. used to have a conflict with his ex-girlfriend and who used his phone number to send text messages and threatened to kill him with his new girlfriend.
Currently the case is under investigation.
