The 38-year-old patient, with an address in Dong Da district, Hanoi, returned home on November 19, found to have COVID-19, became BN1305 in Vietnam.

DISEASE 1305 (BN1305): Male, 38 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Dong Da district, Hanoi.
On November 19, 2020, BN1305 from Germany entered Van Don Airport on flight VN5036, isolated in Thai Binh province immediately after entry. The test result on November 19 at the Thai Binh Province Center for Disease Control was positive for SARS-CoV-2.
For 78 days, Vietnam recorded no cases of COVID-19 infection in the community.
Currently, the patient is isolated and treated at Dong Anh Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases.
As of 6:00 p.m. on November 20, Vietnam had a total of 1,305 COVID-19 cases, of which 691 cases were caused by domestic infection, the number of new cases from July 25 to now is 551 cases. There have been 78 days without cases of COVID-19 infection in the community.
Currently, more than 16,500 people in close contact with and entry from the epidemic area are under medical surveillance (quarantine). Regarding the treatment situation, Vietnam has cured 1,142 cases. Currently, 24 of the patients in treatment have tested negative at least once for SARS-CoV-2.
