Former legendary Thai striker Kiatisuk Senamuang will lead the HAGL from the 2021 season.

According to the sheet Siamsport (Thailand) on the afternoon of November 20, Kiatisuk will sign a two-year contract, receiving a monthly salary of 800,000 baht (equivalent to 600 million dong). Therefore, the total value of the contract between Kiatisuk and HAGL can reach 19.2 million baht (14.5 billion dong).

Kiatisuk is expected to be present in Vietnam in early December, however, he must be in quarantine for two weeks, according to the Covid-19 epidemic prevention process, so that until December 17 he can launch the mountain equipment.

Kiatisuk, born in 1973, is a legendary forward in Thai soccer. He used to play for HAGL in 2002-2006, helping the local team win the V-League in 2003 and 2004. In 2006, Kiatisuk assumed the role of player and coach, before retiring.

In 2010, he returned to lead the HAGL, but was unsuccessful in the V-League. He then returned to Thailand to work for various clubs such as Chula United, Bangkok and coached Thai teams from 2013 to 2017. This is the period when Golden Temple football dominated the regional playing field, continuously. He won the AFF Cup and the SEA Games. They also won the right to play in the final qualifying round of the 2018 World Cup.

As a player, Kiatisuk has won the AFF Cup three times, won the SEA Games gold medal four times, and placed fourth in Asiad twice.
