According to the Health Ministry, at 6:00 p.m. on November 18, Vietnam had a total of 691 cases of COVID-19 due to domestic infections, of which the number of new cases from July 25 to now is 551 cases.
From 6:00 p.m. on November 17 to 6:00 p.m. on November 18, Vietnam registered 12 new cases, all of which were quarantined in three provinces: Khanh Hoa (02), Ho Chi Minh City (06), Hai Duong Province (04). Specifically:
– DISEASE 1289 (BN1289): male, 21 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Phuc Tho district, Hanoi.
DISEASE 1290 (BN1290): female, 41 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Hung Ha district, Thai Binh province.
On 11/11/2020, BN1289-1290 from Russia entered Cam Ranh Airport on flight VN5062, isolated in Khanh Hoa province immediately after entry. Taking samples for the first time on 11/12/2020, the test result was negative; Sampling for the second time on 11/16/2020, the test result on 11/17/2020 at Khanh Hoa Province Center for Disease Control was positive for SARS-CoV-2. Currently, patients are isolated and treated at Cam Ranh Regional General Hospital.
– DISEASE 1291 (BN1291): male, 19 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Minh Hoa district, Quang Binh province.
– DISEASE 1292 (BN1292): male, 37 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Dien Chau district, Nghe An province.
– DISEASE 1293 (BN1293): male, 42 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Kim Bang district, Ha Nam province.
– DISEASE 1294 (BN1294): male, 28 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Yen Thanh district, Nghe An province.
– DISEASE 1295 (BN1295): female, 34 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Yen Dinh district, Thanh Hoa province.
– DISEASE 1296 (BN1296): male, 36 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Tan Ky district, Nghe An province.
On November 7, 2020, BN1291-1296 from Germany transited through Romania and entered Tan Son Nhat airport on flight VN82 on November 8, 2020, isolated in the city. Ho Chi Minh just after the entrance. Test results for the first time on 11/10/2020 were negative; Sampling for the second time on 11/16/2020, test results on 11/17/2020 at the Center for Disease Control City. Ho Chi Minh City positive for SARS-CoV-2. Currently, patients are isolated and treated at the Cu Chi Field Hospital.
DISEASE 1297 (BN1297): female, 46 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Le Chan district, city. Hai Phong.
– DISEASE 1298 (BN1298): male, 32 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in the town of Tan Uyen, Binh Duong province.
DISEASE 1299 (BN1299): male, 19 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Go Vap district, city. Ho Chi Minh.
– PATIENT 1300 (BN1300): male, 16 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in the city. Ha Long, Quang Ninh province.
On November 16, 2020, BN1297-1300 from Canada entered Van Don Airport on flight VN5028, isolated in Hai Duong province just after entry. Sampling on 11/17/2020, test result on 11/18/2020 at Central Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology positive for SAR-CoV-2. Currently, patients are in isolation and treated at Hai Duong Tropical Disease Hospital.
So far, the total number of people in close contact and entry from the epidemic area is under sanitary surveillance (quarantine): 16,399, of which: Isolation concentrated in the hospital: 206; Isolation in other facilities: 15.30; Isolation at home, accommodation: 885.
To date, the number of deaths in Vietnam is 35; The number of cured cases is 1,124.
