Thousands of cubic meters of rock and dirt blocked National Highway 40B after a landslide on a hill in Tra Don commune at noon on November 17.

The worrying thing is that this landslide happened when it stopped raining in H. Nam Tra My 2 days ago and on November 17 it was sunny.

According to Mr. Vuong, after capturing the information, the commune authorities were present at the scene and determined that the pile of earth and rock piled up 4 m high on National Highway 40B was caused by an eroded hill. The commune reported the incident to the district, asking to mobilize machines to the landslide area to soon open the route from H. Nam Tra My through Kon Tum province.

According to Mr. Vuong, the local government is still verifying and checking to determine whether there are buried victims when the landslide occurs or not.
