Reuters on November 15 reported that US President Donald Trump first noticed that his Democratic rival Joe Biden had won the January 3 election, but still confirmed that the election was fraudulent.
Biden won in a series of battlefield states won by the Republican Party in 2016. The former US Vice President also won by a 3.6% difference, equivalent to 5.5 million popular votes.
“He won because the election was rigged. No observers were allowed, the vote was organized by the left-wing private company Dominion with a bad reputation and behind-the-scenes team that was shoddy in Texas (where I won a lot), it transmitted false information and silence, and many other things, ”he wrote Trump on Twitter.
President Trump’s campaign team has filed lawsuits aimed at changing outcomes in many states, albeit without success. Meanwhile, legal experts say the election results are difficult to reverse.
All bipartisan election officials say they have no evidence of major anomalies. Democrats and some accuse President Trump of trying to legitimize Biden’s victory and destroy public confidence in the electoral process.
Before the election, President Trump rejected a peaceful transfer of power. This did not change the very nature of Biden becoming president-elect, but it did hamper the normal process of preparing for the new president’s administration.
According to Reuters, Ron Klain, whom Biden selected as the new government’s chief of staff, said the transfer group has not had access to the acting government involved in efforts to deal with Covid-19.
