President Donald Trump appeared to admit on Sunday for the first time that his rival, Democrat Joe Biden, had won the November 3 election.

However, Trump repeated his unsubstantiated claim that the winning result achieved through the opponent’s vote was fraudulent.

“He won because the vote was fraudulent,” Trump posted on Twitter.

His tweet was immediately “controversial” by the social network.

Shortly after the tweet, Trump went on to say that Biden “only won in the eyes of the media.”

“I admit nothing. We have a long way to go,” he wrote. “This is an INTERVIEW.”

Twitter also “whistled” this news for having a “controversial” content.

On Friday, Biden bolstered his election rate with an expected victory in Georgia, making him the first Democratic candidate to win the state since 1992.

Currently, Biden has 306 electoral votes, far exceeding the threshold of 270 to win.

However, Trump has so far not accepted the results. He launched a series of legal challenges in key states and made unsubstantiated allegations of broad-based voter fraud, but his efforts so far have been unsuccessful.
