The Ho Chi Minh City Pedagogical University Publishing House has just published the draft of the document that modifies and supplements the Canh Dieu first grade Vietnamese textbooks, for consultation with teachers and society.
This draft will be discussed on 11/20/2020 before the Appraisal Council begins to work on the final evaluation.
Specifically, the document consists of 2 parts, in which part 1 presents some linguistic materials so that teachers can use them instead of inappropriate texts; Part 2 guide to fit some words in the article.
There are 11 additional readings out of 11 that are considered inappropriate for teachers to use instead, and many word-related adjustments in the lessons.
For example, the Ministry of Education and Training requested the reading exercise “Crab, stork and herd of fish” (both parts) to edit and complement the linguistic material, the book compilation team added another 2 readings to add as “Do friends “and” Lotus Lake “; “Rows and Dogs” can be replaced by “Nguoi Nguoi Street” …
Prior to that, following the request of the Minister of Education and Training, the Assessment Board reviewed and worked with the author of the first grade Vietnamese textbook from the Canh Kite book set.
In a spirit of demand and responsibility, the Appraisal Council and the author agreed to absorb as much as possible the suggestions to edit the textbook to make it more appropriate.
Specifically, edit and supplement the language so that the teacher can replace some paragraphs / texts to better suit 1st grade students, such as “Crab, stork, and a flock of fish” page 115, lesson “Two horses” Page 157, item “The trick, the rabbit and the tiger” p. 163, …; replacing some confusing, rarely used words like “light”, “nom”, “gift … gift”, “cup”, …
The Appraisal Council also recommends that the author, when choosing an alternative text, not to use fables or “polyphonic” paragraphs / articles, should choose paragraphs / articles in the hoard of Vietnamese literature.
The Ministry of Education and Training requires the publisher and author to develop an editing and editing plan for the Evaluation Council to report to the Minister of Education and Training for their consideration and approval of the revised content before November 15, 2020.
With the views of the public on the latest Canh Dieu first grade Vietnamese textbooks, the Ministry of Education and Training, the Evaluation Council and the Canh Dieu first grade Vietnamese textbook authors group respectfully thank to scientists and parents. Parents, teachers and the people of the country have contributed many valuable ideas, pointing out content that is not suited to the educational needs of students.
