According to forecasts, from the night of November 14, the waters of Quang Ngai will have strong winds due to the influence of Typhoon No. 13. The ship Gia Bao 268 is at risk of being hit by waves on the rocky shore which carries the risk of oil spill.
To avoid an environmental incident, in the past 2 days, competent forces in the Dung Quat port area helped ship owner Gia Bao 268 suck all the reserve oil ashore. At the same time, the mooring system is also reinforced to minimize damage to the helmet caused by impact.
Influence of Typhoon No. 13, since the afternoon of November 14, the waters of Quang Ngai had strong winds of grade 5, level 6-7. The wind is predicted to gradually increase to level 6, level 7 and level 8-9 tonight. In particular, the Dung Quat port sea area will have strong winds of 7-8, level 9-10.
