On the morning of November 14 (afternoon of November 13, US time), President Donald Trump announced victory in the state of North Carolina.
According to the AP, there are not enough uncontrolled votes to help Mr. Joe Biden change the situation in this state. November 13 is the deadline for North Carolina counties to confirm the election results. After the numbers were updated in most counties, President Trump led Biden by around 73,800 votes.
The media announced that Mr. Biden had enough electoral votes to win on January 7, but some states like North Carolina and Georgia did not yet have final results because the gap between the two candidates was very narrow while the ballots were still Y by mail have not been counted.
After the North Carolina results came to a close, President Trump now has 232 electoral votes, while Biden has 290 votes. Currently AP has not released the results in the state of Georgia, either CNN or The New York Times, NBC has announced that Mr. Biden won in the state.
Under Georgia law, officials must choose one of the US elections to manually check if the counting machine is working properly. Between the presidential elections, the Senate and lower house elections, the senior Georgia official chose to recount the presidential race due to the narrow gap.
