Reporting on the upcoming search plan, Lieutenant Colonel Thang said that a dam more than 10m needs to be built to rectify the Rao Trang River. The dam will be built with an iron gate to make use of stone in the site area and a waterproof nylon layer on the outside.
“After redirecting the Rao Trang River, the search force will excavate under the riverbed near the area of the landslide to find the missing person. Colonel Nguyen Dinh Thua, deputy director of the Thua Thien Hue province police, said 12 missing workers in Rao Trang 3 are likely buried in the riverbed near the area of the landslide.
