Leicester vs Wolves results: Vardy missed the penalty

Leicester received two penalties, but only one of them was successful, but that was enough for the Foxes to defeat the Wolves.

Entering the match, Leicester showed confidence in how to play properly as a home team. However, the Wolves put together a pretty good lineup, so the Foxes couldn’t find their way into Patricio’s goal in the first 10 minutes.

But in a situation that didn’t seem too dangerous for the Wolves, the Wolves defender let the ball touch and Leicester received a penalty. After consulting the VAR, the referee did not hesitate to point to the 11-meter mark in the 13th minute.

Vardy did not miss the opportunity to open the scoring with a penalty. Leicester continued to attack and Wolves received a second penalty after Ait-Nouri fouled in the box in the 37th minute, but Vardy was unable to get past Patricio’s foot.

In the second half, the two teams continued to play tit for tat, but both Leicester and Wolves missed many opportunities. The most unfortunate thing for the visitors was when Neves shot far into the high corner, but Schmeichel made a great save in the 77th minute.
