Trump supporters gathered on the afternoon of November 7 in Huntington Beach, Orange County, to call for a halt to the vote count.
The first way: request a recount
Candidate Donald Trump cannot directly request a recount. However, the vote count can be done if there is a petition signed by at least 3 voters citing the election with many “abnormal” points.
In fact, even with the vote count, the election results will not be much different.
TV NBC News note: “In Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Nevada and Arizona, for 20 years there has been no statewide tally leading to a change in the identity of the winner.”
Usually the result is only a few hundred votes, which is not enough to change the race for the White House.

The second way: apply to the court
In addition to demanding recount in Wisconsin, Trump’s election team has begun the filing process in several states with narrow election results.
Especially in Pennsylvania and Michigan, they have initiated procedures to avoid a higher vote count, but have not yet succeeded.
In a press release published on November 7 (local time), Trump went on to state that there were a large number of illegal votes in favor of Joe Biden (without giving evidence) and that on September 11 he would petition the court.
Trump’s election team also vowed to bring “massive voter fraud allegations” to the Supreme Court.
Yet US political experts consider voter fraud to be very rare in the US And without supporting evidence, there is little chance that the Supreme Court will accept it.
In contrast, due to the appeals process, states can delay the release of official election results for days or even weeks.

The third way: don’t admit defeat
CNN said that if Trump did not admit to losing, Vice President Mike Pence would be the one to admit the failure of the Republican Party.
Whether or not Trump admits his failure, the transition of power will take place on January 20, 2021.
Andrew Bates, Biden’s spokesman, has threatened to oust Trump from the White House if he refuses to leave.
In reality, admitting failure is just an electoral practice, not the law.
In 2016, Hillary Clinton acknowledged her opponent’s victory by calling newly elected President Donald Trump.
The most prominent is the speech of John McCain, Republican candidate in 2008 (next to Barack Obama).

In front of supporters in Phoenix, Arizona, he accepted responsibility for the failure: “This failure is mine, not yours.”
In addition, he congratulated his opponent: “Dear friends, we have come to the end of a long road. The American people have expressed their clear attitude. In this long campaign, your success is yours. Senator Obama leaves me with nothing but respect.
It gave American men and women great hope. I admire that. This is a historic election that has special meaning for all African Americans. “
Many comments suggested that Trump should follow John McCain in order for the American democratic process to continue to unfold.
