AmericaTwo gunmen were arrested on the night of November 5 outside a polling station in Philadelphia with a pickup truck loaded with fake votes.
The suspects include Antonio LaMotta, 61, and Joshua Macias, 42, both of Chesapeake City, Virginia. Police in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, said they arrested two suspects after receiving word that gun bearers were driving a silver truck to the Pennsylvania Convention Center, where the presidential vote count was taking place.
Officers discovered the silver car a block from the convention center at 10:20 p.m. on November 5, about seven minutes before finding LaMotta and Macias. Two suspects admitted that the car belonged to them. Authorities on June 11 said the two people were carrying pistols, the same rifle in the car, with 160 rounds.
Local radio station KYW, linked to CNN, quoted prosecutors as saying the men’s vehicle was “full of false votes,” adding that messages on the phone showed they were concerned. concerns about the vote counting process at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. However, there is no detailed information on this incident.
Philadelphia prosecutor Larry Krasner said stickers and hats with the right-hand QAnon logo were also found on the car. LaMotta and Macías were accused of hiding weapons without a license and carrying weapons in the street.
“This alarming incident is still under investigation, with regard to additional charges,” Krasner said, adding that a woman accompanying the two suspects had not been arrested.
The incident comes as President Donald Trump and Democratic candidate Joe Biden are still fighting fiercely in Pennsylvania, the state of the battlefield that is supposed to decide the race for the White House. Biden leads nearly 29,000 votes here and he only needs more victories in this state, win 20 more electoral votes, to be elected president.
