Software bug transferred 6,000 votes from Trump to Biden

Republicans claimed that the software bugs in Michigan transferred 6,000 of Trump’s votes to Biden, before the county vote counting official discovered the flaw.

The election official for Michigan’s Battlefield State Antrim County discovered the software bug on Nov. 4, when he noticed a computer recording the victory of Democratic candidate Joe Biden in a county that has traditionally supported the Communist Party. Michigan Republican President Laura Cox shared at a press conference.

Election officials immediately fixed the software bug and the review showed that President Donald Trump took a 2,000 vote lead and won in County Antrim.

Ms. Cox said 47 other counties in the state also use the software and advocates that counties “closely check” the results of the count for any errors.

Biden beat Trump in the Michigan race with 50.6% – 47.9% respectively. Republicans in Michigan did not say what system was regularly used to count votes, but party spokesman Tony Zammit added that the system was not in use under Cox, who took office in early 2019.

Former Governor Posthumus Lyons explained that the mistake in County Antrim was human error. Michigan Judge Cynthia Stephens recently ruled against Trump’s campaign to stop counting votes so that observers and observers could access and monitor the count.

While some states may count mail-in ballots in the past two months, officials in the three battlefield states of Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania cannot count mail-in ballots until or shortly before Election Day.
