Regarding the incident, Mr. Jozel Alfons Peters, General Director of the Vietnam-France Hospital, shared that he was very sorry that a stroke occurred that caused the death of pregnant women, but this was a very difficult case with very serious complications. .
“The hospital did everything possible, but the patient’s condition was too serious, the multi-organ failure caused death,” Jozel said.
According to the leaders of the Vietnam-France Hospital, just during the normal delivery, the patient lost a lot of blood, the delivery team stopped bleeding immediately but was not effective, so she immediately moved to the intensive care room to receive treatment, then disease. The patient was operated on, but ultimately could not save his life.
He also said that during the delivery process of the patient admitted to the hospital, there were always midwives and doctors nearby. When the patient is in the intensive care unit, the doctor regularly updates the situation with his family.
“When a client is born in the hospital, we are always subjected to full tests, under absolute medical supervision, there is no negligence or negligence,” said the Director General of Viet Phap Hospital.
Regarding the health of Ms. P.’s daughter, the hospital said the baby is stable and is still being cared for.

Because the family refused to undergo an autopsy, experts evaluated the cause of death to give more thought to blood clotting disorders.
Ms. Ha also said that some of the information shared on social media that the hospital neglected or did not take care of itself was incorrect.
According to Ms. Ha, when the pregnant woman had abnormal symptoms, the Health Department was also present and invited more doctors from the Bach Mai Hospital, Central Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion to consult.
Right on the morning of November 5, the Department of Maternal and Child Health, the Ministry of Health sent a letter to the French Vietnamese Hospital, requesting verification and reporting on the death of pregnant woman P.
The Ministry of Health also requires that the hospital establish a professional council in accordance with the provisions of the Examination and Treatment Law to evaluate the process of reception, follow-up, care and management of the case of the pregnant woman P .; Communicate the conclusion of the Professional Council to the pregnant woman’s family and to the media.
If you detect that groups and individuals have professional, mental, service attitude and ethical errors, ask the hospital to handle them strictly in accordance with current regulations.
The hospital side said that in the coming days, it will establish a professional committee made up of many prominent experts from other hospitals to determine the exact cause of death and review the entire process.
