The patient is a 33-year-old female, Vietnamese nationality, domiciled in Song Lo, Vinh Phuc. On October 22, the patient entered Noi Bai Airport after taking flight QR976, immediately isolated in Thanh Tri district, Hanoi.

After taking the first negative sample, taking the second sample on November 3, the test result on November 4 at the Hanoi Center for Disease Control gave a positive result for COVID-19, the patient is currently in isolation and treatment at Dong Anh Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases, Hanoi.

With the addition of 1 new patient, Vietnam has registered 1,207 COVID-19 patients since the beginning of the epidemic season, of which 1,069 have been cured and discharged from the hospital.

In Hanoi, although nearly 80 days have passed with no new cases being reported in the community, on November 4, however, 2 hotel employees had to be medically isolated after having close contact (1 phone user, 1 changer of money) for COVID-19 patient to 1,203.

On the afternoon of November 4, Hanoi had a meeting and decided to establish 5 inspection teams to push forward epidemic prevention activities after a period of neglect.
