Regarding an Israeli expert isolated in a Hanoi hotel with Covid-19, Mr. Truong Quang Viet, Deputy Director of the Center for Disease Control (CDC) in Hanoi, said that initially there were 2 F1 cases (close contact) It is the hotel staff. Both reported wearing a mask when in contact with the patient.

“They are both isolated in the hotel, they have taken samples for testing,” Viet said.

These two scenarios include one using the patient’s phone to speak to another person, a person exchanging money for the patient. These two cases are only at the hotel, not at home. The Israeli specialist stays in a room.

To date, these two cases have had the first negative results for SARS-CoV-2.

Previously, on the morning of November 4, the Ministry of Health announced that Vietnam had 1 new case of Covid-19, BN1203, a man, 60 years old, an Israeli expert.

On October 31, a patient from Qatar entered Noi Bai Airport on flight QR976 and was quarantined in Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi shortly after entering. Samples were taken from the patient on November 2, the test results on November 3 at the Hanoi Center for Disease Control were positive for SARS-CoV-2.

Currently, patients are isolated and treated at Dong Anh Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases.

Thus, so far, Vietnam has registered 1,203 cases of Covid-19, 35 deaths. November 4 is the 63rd day that our country has not registered cases in the community.
