AmericaFights between Black Lives Matter protesters and Trump supporters outside the White House erupted, despite the presence of police.
The Black Lives Matter (BLV) protesters, angry when one protested, shouted, “All white lives matter, white people matter.”
A video showed the man talking to a protester before being pushed over a barricade and surrounded. He was hit and kicked, pushed to the ground before attempting to escape and walked away.
Another video shows a man wearing a “Make America Great Again” T-shirt, the slogan of the President of the United States, Donald Trump, mixed with a BLM protester and taunted him before launching into a fight. .
The screams also echoed during a tense dispute between protesters and police, forcing police to withdraw from the Black Lives Matter Plaza building to calm down. The protesters threatened to stay and riot at the White House for weeks if Trump was re-elected.
At least three BLM protesters were arrested. The first case took place at 5:15 p.m. when the protesters disobeyed police orders. Authorities ordered the removal of a vehicle from an illegal park and detained a person on charges against public and disruptive service.
The second arrest occurred at 9:30 pm, when the police bicycle team deployed to intervene in a scuffle. It is unclear if this is related to the violence in the previous video between Trump supporters and opponents.
Meanwhile, the National Guard has been deployed to 16 states to prepare for the unrest.
