On the afternoon of November 3, Vietnam registered 10 new cases of Covid-19, bringing the total number of cases to 1,202 cases.

The National Steering Committee for the Control of Covid-19 Diseases said that the 10 new cases registered this afternoon were all registered, Vietnamese citizens returning from Russia and Angola. Specifically:

8 patients from 1193-1120, ages 7 to 51 are Vietnamese citizens returning from Russia on flight VN5062 on October 31. Immediately after entering Van Don Airport, all passengers and crew on this flight were isolated in Isolation Area No. 1 in Hung Yen Province.

Test results from Nov.2 at the Hung Yen Center for Disease Control found that 8 patients tested positive for SARS-CoV-2.

Currently, patients are isolated and treated at Dong Anh Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases.

From September 3 to now, Vietnam has not registered any new cases in the community (green line).

2 patients 1201 and 1202 were women, 22 years old in Phu Tho and 47 years old in Thai Binh, respectively, they returned from Angola on flight VN8 on October 20, entered the Van Don airport and then were transferred to isolation in Regiment 833 , Bac Ninh province.

The second test result on November 2 at the Bac Ninh Center for Disease Control confirmed Covid-19. Earlier on this flight, many cases of Covid-19 were also reported.

Currently, patients are isolated and treated at Bac Ninh General Hospital.

Thus, on the afternoon of November 3, Vietnam registered 1,202 cases of Covid-19, of which 691 cases were in the country. However, in the last 61 days, our country has not registered cases in the community.

Currently, the medical facilities have treated 1,069 patients with Covid-19, currently 95 are in treatment, of which 5 cases have had 3 negative tests, eligible for discharge.

The entire country is isolated, monitoring the health of about 15,000 people, of which 174 people are quarantined in hospitals, more than 13,000 people are concentrated in isolation, the rest are isolated at home and in accommodation.

Since the first cases were recorded in China in December 2019, the Covid-19 epidemic has spread to 216 countries with more than 47 million cases, more than 1.2 million deaths, becoming epidemics. most serious in 1 century.
