Local authorities are overcoming the lack of rice to support people in TT.Ea T’ling (H.Cu Jut, Dak Nong), but still many poor households reflect that others “accept” rice in previous support.

Specifically, in TDP 1, there are 26 households, with 109 people, approved to keep 1,635 kg of rice, but 630 kg of rice have been deficient for 17 households; does not supply 315 kg of rice to the 4 households on the list. In total, the amount of rice for minors and low grade was 945 kg. According to Anh, after discovering this, the People’s Committee of TT.Ea T’ling asked Mr. Hoang Van Chuan, leader of TDP 1, to explain and have a plan to overcome the mistake. After that, Mr. Chuan bought rice himself and returned it to households that lacked or received it.

In explaining, Mr. Chuan said that he took the rice and gave it to 35 other households that also had difficult circumstances due to the poor harvest. After that, the People’s Committee of TT.Ea T’ling established a task force to review the matter. As a result, all the rice was deficient, it was not distributed to 21 households named on the list, distributed by Mr. Chuan to 35 households outside the list. However, in reality, these 35 homes are not as difficult as the ones that have been met and passed on the approved list.

Mr. Anh said: “Through verification, Mr. Chuan did not intercept rice, had no self-interest, but violated the regulations of the district and city Popular Committee, violated democracy, causing bad public opinion in the location”. Mr. Anh also said that in the next time, the TT.Ea T’ling People’s Committee will organize a review and consider the removal of the TDP 1 leader for Mr. Chuan.

In addition to the error in the distribution of rice above, according to complaints from households belonging to TDP 1, TT.Ea T’ling, from the beginning of 2020 until now, the province has been supported by the state for about 3 times of rice for alleviate hunger, but many poor households do not receive rice. Pham Van Hoa (41) said his family was in very difficult circumstances, his wife had kidney disease and had no money for treatment, and his 3 children were young. When he heard about the local rice distribution to support the rice harvest (May 2020), Hoa thought he was eligible to receive rice, but he was not accepted. After searching, Hoa found his name on the donation list with 75 kg of rice, but someone took it away by forging his signature.

Similarly, poor households like Nguyen Thi Cuc, Nguyen Van Thu are listed to receive rice, but their signatures are also “accepted”. Additionally, 17 households reported that they received rice but not the correct amount on the list. Specifically, Ms. Hoang Thi Kim Dien has 7 people, on the approved list she received 105 kg but only received 30 kg. Ms. Ngo Thi Lan’s household has 5 people, on the list they receive 75 kg, but they only receive 30 kg …

Regarding the information provided by the aforementioned individuals, Mr. Nguyen Huu Anh said that the city working group is still reviewing and clarifying; If it is true that people reflect, infractions will be handled strictly in accordance with the regulations.
