Noting the fact that on the same day, outside Mr. Truong’s house in the new Phuoc Long urban area in Phuoc Long district, Nha Trang city was blocked. Inside, the functional forces carried out a reconnaissance of the place to serve the investigation of the case that was attacked and wounded.
According to other sources, in the early afternoon from 1 to 11, a man wearing a black coat and a full face helmet broke into Mr. Hoang Van Truong’s home. This man used a weapon to attack, wounding Mr. Truong’s neck area. Soon after, the man quickly fled.
Mr. Truong was taken to the ER by relatives at Khanh Hoa General Hospital. According to Khanh Hoa General Hospital, Mr. Truong was injured in the neck area and was treated promptly, without endangering his life.
It is known that Mr. Hoang Van Truong is 66 years old this year. Mr. Truong is a former member of the Standing Committee of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, secretary of the Nha Trang City Party Committee for the period 2010-2015. He has been retired since 2014.
