On November 1, the representative of Hoa Phat Group confirmed that an accident occurred at Hoa Phat – Dung Quat Steel Factory that caused 5 victims.
According to this representative, at 11:30 am on October 28, at the Hoa Phat Dung Quat Iron and Steel Complex (Binh Son District, Quang Ngai Province), strong winds from Storm No. 9 blew down the roof of the factory, crushing 5 workers. After discovering the incident, people took 5 victims to Quang Nam Central Hospital for emergency, but so far, 3 people have died and 2 have been injured.
The Hoa Phat Group media representative said that this was just a work accident due to the influence of the storm. “The factory gave workers a break, but only the group that remained in service had an accident. The company will do all the procedures so that the workers fully enjoy their benefits ”- the representative says this.
