Thu Duc District Police, Ho Chi Minh City, are working with the CSDT Ho Chi Minh City Police to clarify that a man is linked to the death of a woman at AH Hotel Street No. 1, the area of resettlement. Binh Chieu, Binh Chieu neighborhood, on the afternoon of October 29. The victim was Ms L (SN 1975, Lao Cai’s hometown).
On the afternoon of October 29, this man rented a room at Hotel AH. According to some witnesses and cameras, the man was almost 50 years old, about 1m7 tall, wearing a mask, wearing blue and white jeans, a shirt. Blue short-sleeved polo shirt, with sandals and riding a motorcycle without IC.
The man walked into the room for a while, then Mrs. L went into the room as well. About 1 hour later, the man left and left the hotel in a hurry.
Not seeing Ms L fall, the hotel staff checked and discovered that she was dead.
Upon examining the scene, the police noted that Ms. L died lying on the ground, wearing a shirt but no pants. The victim’s left neck and cheekbones were bruised.
Police said the cause of Ms L’s death was strangulation.
Also, on the street behind the hotel, the police found Ms. L’s personal purse, but there were no valuable belongings.
The source said that Ms L was in and out of the AH hotel regularly. It is likely that this woman was murdered by the man mentioned above.
Police are extracting security camera footage at the site and along the roads to locate the man involved, for investigation.
