The small town along the quiet stream was suddenly buried in mud and trees. There was a woman with a blank face, hair down and crying and sobbing at the scene, that was Ms. Ho Thi Hoa, who was from the village.
Ms. Hoa shared that she was working in Tam Ky town, Quang Nam, when she saw the storms and homesickness, so she quit work to visit her home. Halfway there, he was informed by other villagers that the entire village where he lived, Tra Leng, was flooded by floodwaters from upstream along the flattened stream through the village.
According to Ms Hoa, Tra Leng village has 11 houses adjacent to each other along the creek, people mainly live by hunting and farming thanks to the creek along the village. However, on the afternoon of October 28, after Storm No. 9 landed, the water suddenly spilled downstream, the entire town being submerged by a “sea of water”, leaving no trace.
“My father, my mother, my children and my younger brothers are buried in the ground,” Hoa said.
The hiccuping sobs broke out but couldn’t be heard in aweSuffering, helpless before the scene of devastation, waiting for the rescue team in search of their loved ones. It doesn’t seem like miracles happen to him. Everything before his eyes are ruined scenes. Everyone is devastated.

The tragedy of the Ho Van De couple and Ms. Ho Thi Hong is not much different from that of the Hoa family. Mr. De and his wife went to the fields to harvest rice in progress when the flood hit. The fierce torrent has swept away 3 family members, including sons, daughters-in-law and nephews (9 years old).
When he returned, Mr. De couldn’t believe it when he saw the ruined scene of the peaceful village. The cries of relatives, screams and screams of functional forces resound in an area, creating a tragic scene.

More sadly, a few hundred meters from the scene, people dug the grave to bury Mr. Ho Van Thanh (51 years old) and Mrs. Ho Thi Duc (41 years old). Flash floods caused Mr. Thanh and Ms. Duc’s home to be buried, they both died, only the 9th grade son escaped.
People had to remove the boy and go to the hospital because the relief force was unable to access the site due to divided roads.
“Loving the child, the parents died, they could not see their faces for the last time, the locals have to worry about the burial, now they are still in the hospital and do not know how to live or die,” a sigh from the Tra Leng villagers in the middle of the funeral.
At 10:00 p.m. on October 29, the search for the disappeared and access to the village of Tra Leng continued.
