The information on 4 new cases (BN1174-1177) are all entry cases, isolated in Ba Ria – Vung Tau. As follows:

DISEASE 1174 (BN1174): Male, 25 years old, Vietnamese nationality, residing in Phung Khoang, Hanoi.

PATIENT 1175 (BN1175): female, 59 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in District 12, District 6, HCMC.

DISEASE 1176 (BN1176): male, 25 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in District 15, District 11, HCMC.

PATIENT 1177 (BN1177): male, 36 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Dong Tam, Vinh Yen, Vinh Phuc.

On October 21, previous patients from France entered Tan Son Nhat airport on flight VN5010, concentrated in isolation at the Minh Dam Regiment, Ba Ria – Vung Tau province.

On October 27, samples were taken from patients who started with a fever for analysis. Results from the second test on October 28 were positive for 4 patients for SARS-CoV-2. Currently, 4 patients are isolated and treated at Long Dien District Medical Center, Ba Ria – Vung Tau province.

Previously, on this flight, 7 positive cases for the SARS-CoV-2 virus were recorded, all of which were isolated in Ba Ria – Vung Tau.

With the addition of 4 new patients, the country has registered 1,177 cases of disease since the beginning of the epidemic season, of which 1,062 people were cured and discharged from the hospital. In the last 57 days, no new patients have been registered, but the risk that the epidemic will return in the next few days is very great.
