The group of workers trapped in the container house area in the middle of the Tra Khuc River (Quang Ngai) has been successfully saved by functional forces.
Speaking to VietNamNet this morning, Colonel Vo Van Ba, Commander of the Quang Ngai Province Military Command, confirmed that the authorities have successfully saved the group of workers trapped on the east side of the Tra Khuc River.
Initially, on the afternoon of October 28, 13 jobs in the area of the container house in the middle of the Tra Khuc river (the section near the dam) were trapped as water from upstream entered and rose.

This group of workers immediately contacted the rescue function.
Quang Ngai province asked the lakes upstream to stop the floods so that they could bring canoes to rescue people.
During the night, the functional forces organized plans to successfully save the group of workers.
Mr. Vo Quoc Hung – Head of the Quang Ngai Provincial Office (Head of the Provincial Command for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue) added that today, the water of the Tra Khuc River has dropped below the level 2 below peak flooding. The province’s natural disaster prevention work is assured.
On October 28, Typhoon No. 9 made landfall in the central provinces. In particular, Quang Ngai province experienced heavy rains, in some places the wind gusts exceeded level 11. After the storm intensified and flooded some places, more than 53,000 houses in this province were blown up and damaged.
