The woman died in a burning house in Phu Nhuan district, Ho Chi Minh City, suspected of stealing and killing to obtain property and the police are searching for the perpetrator.
Regarding a house fire at 50 Nguyen Dinh Chieu Alley (Ward 3, Phu Nhuan District) that killed one person, the police agency determined that it was a murder, property theft and house burning by mourning.
The identity of the victim is Ms. NTN, born in 1954. Currently, the Ho Chi Minh City Police and the Phu Nhuan District Police are still actively investigating and arresting the perpetrator.
In the early afternoon of October 27, Ms. N’s four-story home suddenly caught fire. Upon discovering the incident, the surrounding people tried to approach the fire, but it was not effective.
The Phu Nhuan District Police Fire and Rescue Police Team immediately dispatched vehicles, officers and soldiers to the scene to deploy fire fighting.
Upon inspection, the functional force discovered that Ms N. died on the second floor, her body was burned, there was a stab wound in the neck, many properties of the house were lost.
According to residents, Ms. N. bought the home for about 3 months, lived alone, and had no unusual signs before the fire occurred.
The police are investigating and clarifying the case.
