Previously, around 2 in the afternoon on October 26, on National Highway 1A, the section that passes through the commune of Dien Ngoc (Dien Chau district, Nghe An province), a traffic accident occurred between a container truck . and 1 passenger car. When an accident occurred, 2 cars blocked the entire road from Nghe An to Hanoi, so the vehicles were divided on the opposite side of the road for traffic, avoiding prolonged congestion.

At this time, a container truck carrying BKS 51D-626.30 transporting fruit in a south-north direction split into the opposite lane. When traveling towards the bridge near the Dien Thuy Bridge, this car suddenly collided with the truck carrying BKS 49C-072.12 which was transporting handcrafted furniture in the opposite direction.

After a severe collision, both vehicles deformed and burn violently. The drivers of both cars were injured. The fire occurred in the middle of the night with a loud explosion, so the people around did not dare to put out the fire.
