Traffic police detained 3 cars carrying 20 foreigners illegally entering the Hanoi – Hai Phong highway.
On October 26, Lt. Col. Nguyen Truong Son – Team Leader of Highway Traffic Control Patrol No. 2 (Team 2), Highway Traffic Patrol and Control Division (Traffic Police Department – Ministry of Security Public) – said that the unit has just stopped 3 cars that transport 20 people who enter illegally.
Three cars carrying 20 illegally entered persons were stopped on the road by the traffic police.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Son, the incident was discovered around 1:00 this morning, October 26. Specifically, upon receiving information requesting coordination from the Lang Son province police, Team 2 proactively drew up a plan and stopped checking at the toll booth heading towards Hanoi. 20 foreigners are allowed to travel in 3 cars.
Currently, Team 2 is doing a registration of the case and takes the 20 previous drivers and 3 to the Lang Son province police to hand them over.
Before that, around 20:30 on October 25, during the patrol and control en route at Km10, in the direction of Hai Phong – Hanoi, a working group of Team 2 carried out the inspection of BKS 89A-149 … a car named Nguyen TD (24 years old, resident of Van Giang district, Hung Yen) controls.
Through a rapid drug test, the task force detected positive drug driving.
Approximately 30 minutes later, Team 2’s task force continued to detect driver Nguyen TH (30 years old, residing in Hong Bang district, Hai Phong) controlling a BKS 30E-869 car … in his body with drugs.
The case is being handled by Team 2 in accordance with regulations.
