Initially, at the time of the accident, the BS 51C – 640.46 truck controlled by Nguyen Van Linh was traveling on the 623B provincial road, then suddenly collided with a 7-seater BS 76A – 065.73 (driver identity unknown). After the collision, both cars crashed into the house on the side of the road to stop.

At the scene, 2 people died at the scene, another 5 wounded were taken to the emergency room at Quang Ngai General Hospital.

The authorities identified a dead victim at the scene: Mr. Dinh Van Trang (42 years old, resident of Son Thanh Commune, Son Ha District, Quang Ngai). The second death has not been identified.
