On the afternoon of October 24, Major General Ha Tho Binh, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Military Region 4, gave the above information.
According to preliminary information, the body was found by search and rescue forces at more than 4 pm on the same day. The area where the body was found is upstairs, not far from the area where the two bodies were found on October 23.
Search and rescue forces used a shovel to excavate dirt and rocks in this area. After discovering the body, the engineering force used human strength to train the army to clean and process chemicals.
The body will be returned by the functional forces of the water to examine the DNA and verify the identity.
After the discovery of a fifth body, the search and rescue force continued to use the shovel to expand the area and discovered the body in hopes of finding more missing workers.
Thus, this area still has 12 missing workers.
In the early afternoon of October 23, the search and rescue force found 2 bodies of workers who were missing after a landslide buried operators, camps and 17 workers at the Rao Trang 3 hydroelectric power station.
