The Presidium of the General Confederation of Labor of Vietnam has decided to extend the term to discipline the officials against him. Le Vinh Danh – The Rector of Ton Duc Thang University is suspended from his duties in accordance with Decision 1228 of August 21, 2020, due to the need to carry out some formalities and procedures as prescribed to clarify the case.

The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor also announced two findings on the results of the disciplinary action of two Vice Chancellors of Ton Duc Thang University for the period 2014-2019, Mr. Tran Trong Dao and Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Son. .

Accordingly, after considering the recommendation of the disciplinary committee in the reports on the consideration and decision on disciplinary action for Mr. Tran Trong Dao and Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Son on October 14, the General Confederation of Vietnamese workers concluded:

He Tran Trong Dao as deputy director in charge of foreign relations with responsibilities related to the limitations, deficiencies and violations of Mr. Le Vinh Danh, the director of the school, in the implementation of labor regulations, ministries, applying the principle of democratic centralization, financial management and patrimonial; have personal responsibility when commenting, signing the minutes of the meeting of the school leaders of May 8, 2019, opposing the communication 556 / TLĐ dated March 19, 2016 of the General Confederation of Labor Vietnam.

He Nguyen Ngoc Son – as deputy director – has similar responsibilities, and also writes false complaints against the General Confederation of Labor of Vietnam to leaders at the central level.

Conclusion: The aforementioned deficiencies create bad public opinion, which affects the prestige of the school, the general union, Mr. Tran Trong Dao and Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Son.

However, as deputy director, neither Mr. Tran Trong Dao nor Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Son have a decisive role in the implementation of the director’s violations. Furthermore, during the review process, Mr. Dao and Mr. Son have actively overcome the errors; The attitude of serious review, of vision, frankly recognizes the shortcomings and shortcomings.

In accordance with Decree 27/2012 / ND-CP, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor decided not to discipline, but strictly criticized both Mr. Tran Trong Dao and Nguyen Ngoc Son.
