During storms and floods, Union cadres and soldiers Youth Economic Defense 337 marched to Huong Hoa District, Quang Tri Province, to rescue, rescue and help people protect their property and lives.
During the rainy days, the army kept maintaining speed to help people. But 4 officers, 10 professional soldiers and 8 soldiers died. This is a great loss for Military Region 4, the loss cannot compensate family and relatives.
In fact, we were living in this battle in peacetime, no shots being fired, but the soldier’s blood was still spilling. But at the forefront is the people, the soldier with orders from the heart, always ready in dangerous places to help the people. We soldiers would like to say goodbye to our comrades. We will be alive and of service, replacing the fallen brothers. “
After the memorial service, the martyrs were taken back to their hometown for burial in accordance with the family’s wishes. The elves were returned to Nghe An, Ha Tinh, and Quang Binh and stayed in their hometown of Quang Tri.
