On October 16, search and rescue forces by water went up the Bo River to the Rao Trang 4 hydroelectric power station to bring the body back. However, due to the rapid flow of water and heavy rains, the rescue team had to return.

The workers who remained at the Rao Trang 3 Hydroelectric Station took the body to the Rao Trang 4 Hydroelectric Station and waited for the force to return. The search and rescue by waterway at the Rao Trang 3 hydroelectric power station was ordered to stop.

On the morning of October 17, the search and rescue force and the local population once again overcame heavy rains and heavy water at the Rao Trang 4 hydroelectric power station to recover the body. Around noon, the body was brought ashore by the rescue team and taken to Hue Central Hospital to examine the body and determine its identity.

The 12 October landslide in the area of the Rao Trang 3 hydroelectric power station left 17 people missing. On October 16, the rescue team found 2 bodies, so far no more missing cases have been found.

Furthermore, currently at the Rao Trang 3 hydroelectric power station, there are 8 safe survivors who are left with the food supply of the rescue force. When the search force strengthens to lead the way, these people will coordinate to locate the exact area where workers are in danger.
