Mr. Do Thanh Binh, Secretary of the Kien Giang Party Provincial Committee for 2020-2025 is a grassroots adult.
Comrade Do Thanh Binh, secretary of the Kien Giang Party Provincial Committee, mandate XI, was born on 15.31967; City of origin: Tri Must commune, Thoi Binh district, Ca Mau province. Binh joined the revolution on March 26, 1983; admitted to the Communist Party on September 19, 1990, degree: Master in Economics; Political theory: Bachelor’s degree.
After more than 30 years of work, Binh has grown into the grassroots movement. From 9/1983 to 4/1992, he worked in the Vinh Thuan District Party School, then became an officer of the Propaganda Department of the District Party Committee and then the staff of the Propaganda Department – Organization of the Party Committee of Vinh Thuan District, Kien Giang Province before returning he became Undersecretary of the Vinh Thuan District Youth Union, Kien Giang Province from May 1992 to September 1994. From October 1994 to December 2001, Mr. Binh was elected to be the District Party Committee, Secretary of the District Youth Union before becoming a member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, Head of the Organization Board of the District Party Committee of Vinh Thuan, Kien Giang province. From January 2002 to October 2005, Mr. Binh was a member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Vinh Thuan District, Kien Giang Province. From November 2005 to September 2010, Mr. Binh served as Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Vinh Thuan District, Kien Giang Province.
In September 2010, Mr. Binh was elected to the Executive Committee of the Kien Giang Party Provincial Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of Vinh Thuan District, Kien Giang Province and held this position until October 2012, before be promoted to Deputy Director. Kien Giang Party Provincial Committee Organizing Committee Standing Committee. In October 2015, Mr. Binh was elected to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and served as the Head of the Organizing Committee of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee. In July 2018, Mr. Binh was transferred as Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Kien Giang Province, before being elected to the post of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Committee of Kien Giang Province in July / 2020. At the 11th Kien Giang Provincial Party Congress, Mr. Binh was elected to the position of Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the period 2020-2025.
