The Times of India newspaper on October 14 said the incident occurred 2 days ago. Her ex-boyfriend G Nagabhushanam, 25, attacked Nurse C Chinnari as she was returning home from work, a Covid-19 patient care center.
He followed his ex-girlfriend and there was a fierce argument between the two. Anger surged, Nagabhushanam poured kerosene on Chinnari’s body and burned him alive. However, he did not expect his ex-girlfriend to pull it and hold it tight. As a result, Chinnari was burned to death at the scene, and her boyfriend also died from severe burns (80% of the body) while being treated at the Guntur General Hospital.

Police said Nagabhushanam had brought a can of kerosene to go see Chinnari. The couple have been in love for about 2 years. In the end, Chinnari decided to stop the relationship due to pressure from her parents. Even so, Nagabhushanam continued to monitor and asked his ex-girlfriend to run away.
Two months ago, Chinnari and her parents filed a complaint against Nagabhushanam. Later, the police summoned him for questioning and warning. A few days later, Chinnari withdrew the complaint and at the same time asked the police to ensure that her ex-boyfriend did not interfere with her life again. This made Nagabhushanam uncomfortable and led to the heartbreaking incident mentioned above.
